Calendula oil is incredible as a general healing application or included as part of your beauty routine for truly soft, glowing complexion. Similar medicine to the Healing Balm, but simpler and more deeply penetrating into the skin. An excellent choice for healing burns, large wounds such as stitches, or massaging into old tight scar tissue. Eczema, nappy rash, dry skin, or as a face pack after a hot shower. This is also ready to have a measure of wax added to make your own healing Calendula balm or blend with other oils.
This oil was crafted using old traditional method known as ‘solar – infusion”. The fresh homegrown calendula flowers are hand – picked on a sunny day and immediately placed into a jar and covered with raw local olive oil. It is then left to infuse in gentle sunlight for at least 6 weeks. The resulting orange oil smells like honey and does untold wonders for the skin.
