Mullein Blossom Ear Oil

An old, yet effective traditional remedy for ear infections or blocked ears due to wax or sinus issues. Rich olive oil will help to soften and loosen any wax buildup, while the mullein blossoms provide antibacterial properties to clear any infection, and are also mildly sedative, easing pain and discomfort. Great for the little ones when they get those horrible ear infections. Nice to try on bumps and bruises too.

These Mullein flowers are harvested from wild Twiggy mullein in the early summer mornings, before the heat of the day overcomes the delicate blooms. They are then infused in olive oil, not in the sun, but in a cool dark cupboard. These flowers will quickly turn to black mush if exposed to sunlight after being picked.

Saint John’s Wort Infused Oil

SJW is an excellent pain-relieving herb, especially where nerves or nerve damage is concerned. As an infused oil, use as a topical application to damaged or sensitive nerves, neuralgia, sciatica, scabies rash, herpes sores. It’s also really lovely to apply to sore and aching joints and muscles. Try it after a hot shower. So relaxing, it often puts you to sleep, it just feels so nourishing. Wonderfully soothing for burns and light to mildly sun burnt skin. This oil is also of particular benefit to infected wounds.

Collected at the peak of summer from dry hillsides scattered with kangaroos, these lovely little blooms are infused in raw local olive oil in the sun for 6 weeks. The warmth causes the flowers to release their lush goodness into the oil and the resulting red liquid is gorgeous, lovely and so calming.

Calendula Infused Oil

Calendula oil is incredible as a general healing application or included as part of your beauty routine for truly soft, glowing complexion. Similar medicine to the Healing Balm, but simpler and more deeply penetrating into the skin. An excellent choice for healing burns, large wounds such as stitches, or massaging into old tight scar tissue. Eczema, nappy rash, dry skin, or as a face pack after a hot shower. This is also ready to have a measure of wax added to make your own healing Calendula balm or blend with other oils.

This oil was crafted using old traditional method known as ‘solar – infusion”. The fresh homegrown calendula flowers are hand – picked on a sunny day and immediately placed into a jar and covered with raw local olive oil. It is then left to infuse in gentle sunlight for at least 6 weeks. The resulting orange oil smells like honey and does untold wonders for the skin.
